Marissa Ulm is a medically based speech-language pathologist from central Illinois. She earned a Master of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University and has been practicing in the field for 10+ years. She has worked in a variety of settings including Early Intervention, special education, outpatient, and acute care. She is currently employed at a level 4 Neonatal Critical Care Unit (NCCU) providing developmental and feeding support to infants and their families.
Marissa is a Trauma Informed Professional (TIP) and has also attended a variety of trainings in the areas of pediatric dysphagia, infant/child development, and sensory integration including Sensory Oral Sequential (SOS) Approach, SOFFI: Supporting Oral Feeding in Fragile Infants, Family and Infant Neurodevelopmental Education (FINE), and she is currently completing her International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) training.
